Diákmunka - Student assistant for Global Rewards & Mobility (Starting Mid-August)

Here's your chance to be part of the Global Rewards & People Mobility (GR&M) team at VELUX, based in the vibrant headquarters in Budapest. We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic student to join our team and contribute to a range of exciting and impactful projects.

In GR&M we are 8 employees who work with a. o. cross-border mobility, salary policies, bonuses and employee benefits. We develop tools and guidelines, analyse data and provide sparring and support to the entire VELUX organization. We have a good working environment with a high focus on professionalism and collaboration.

Your tasks and responsibilities :
You will be engaged in a variety of tasks, primarily involving Excel and data analysis. Your responsibilities will include processing and analyzing large data sets using functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and regressions, as well as preparing these analyses for presentations.
We expect your working 20-25 hours a week, aligned with your studies. While you can work partly from home, we would also like to see you in our office in Budapest, where you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other student workers in P&O and across various departments.

Your background:
It is important to us that you:
•Have passed relevant subjects with good results, regardless of how far you are in your studies.
•Are strong with numbers and have a proficiency in data processing in Excel.
•Know how to perform and interpret a multivariate regression (knowledge of the statistical tool R/RStudio is beneficial, but not essential).
•Possess strong analytical skills and are thorough and detail-oriented.
•Have good written communication skills in English.
•Are independent and enjoy working on a variety of tasks.
•Are service-minded and eager to be part of our community.
